About the Garrett AT Gold detector

Designed and made in the USA for great performance in all terrain, the AT Gold metal detector is waterproof to 10 foot. This means, like the Garrett AT Pro,  you can fully submerge its control box. It’s been designed to find tiny gold nuggets, even in the most challenging prospecting environments where the soil is highly mineralized. Given it’s waterproof, this also includes shallow fresh water hunting.

The AT Gold is a VLF metal detector that operates at a high frequency (18KhZ). This is optimal for detecting small gold nuggets, coins, relics and jewelry.

Garrett’s Ground Balance Window™ lets you ‘spread’ the ground balance setting to reduce responses to subtle ground variations. And the Fast Track™ ground balance is an automatic feature that allows you to quickly ground balance the detector in mineralized soil conditions. 
• Electronic pinpointing: Precisely locate your target’s location in the ground.
• Depth indicator: Shows the depth of coin-sized targets.
• Battery condition indicator: Always know how much battery life is left.
